Spanish designer based in Eindhoven, Nacho Carbonell makes a stop in Paris and exhibited his latest creations. Made for the gallery BSL, its luminaries “Luciferase” are poetic and experimental pieces, organic and hybrid between
carnivorous plants and strange creatures, beautiful and monstrous at the time. Granular outside, crystal inside, they are made of epoxy resin and powered by LEDs. Their body is covered with sand plaster dust or metal, the interior is lined with light-scattering crystals.
